From Potter to Florist

I am connecting a lifetime of making ceramics with a love of flowers to create natural designs in special bowls or vases each arrangement created with meaning and soul.

I use many of my own pots by request, which can be loaned for a celebration or occasion. Equally, other British handmade Potters bowls or vases can be purchased with the arrangement, which we can discuss and examples shown. I use Potters like Matt Waite for small, medium, or large bowls. Individual vessels can be sourced for a special individual gift of flowers or occasion. Equally, you may choose an arrangement in your own vessel, or have flowers arranged on a regular basis, in an office, restaurant, country house, or your own home.

The vessel and the flowers are as important as each other; the vessel holds the water to give long life to the flowers, and as florist the vessel also dictates how the flowers can be arranged. The relationship between vessel and floral arrangement comes together to make one; with the intricacy of the flowers, foliage and their vessel impacting the overall mood, depth and texture of the arrangement, maximising the opportunity to reflect your special occasion.
